Phoebe K. Rudd

stylist & owner

In 2004, Phoebe had dreams of training at Vidal Sassoon in San Francisco, CA. When she learned that she would have to choose between specializing in cut or color at Sassoon, Phoebe chose to pursue her education at Paul Mitchell The School in San Diego, CA. The School provided her with top notch training from some of the best stylists in the industry.

Upon graduation Phoebe immediately started her career assisting at  Diesel, one of San Diego's top salons. She paid her dues shampooing, blow drying, styling models and earned her respected position on the floor in just 8 short months. Education was key at Diesel. Phoebe was sent to L.A. and San Francisco for training, and attended monthly in-house trainings from Bumble and Bumble and L'oreal Professionel.

In 2009 Phoebe decided it was time to see the world and allow the new and unfamiliar to fuel her innate and creative inspiration. She moved to Alaska where she became a mountain guide. When she was not rock climbing, zip lining or kayaking, Phoebe was cutting and coloring hair in her kitchen.

With her scissors and backpack she traveled to exotic countries to experience life outside of her comfort zone and meet new people. Her love of climbing and backpacking brought Phoebe many incredible adventures. She has cut hair in Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico, Canada, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Nepal, and Malaysia. This traveling gal does not plan on stopping any time soon.

When Phoebe fell in love with the area she chose to set her feet down in the Methow Valley. She has continued her education through Loreal Professionel completing their Balayage course in NYC. In her home town she keeps the dream alive... of being able to do hair wherever she goes, and to continually learn by experiencing life!
